# Compliance & Risk Disclosure

## Geographic availability

Microset is offered **only in jurisdictions where on-chain prediction markets are
legally permitted**. We use **geofencing and IP-based access controls** to restrict
and block access from jurisdictions where the Service is not available. Users must
not attempt to circumvent these controls (for example, via a VPN or proxy). See the
[Terms & Conditions](/legal/terms-and-conditions) for details.

## Non-custodial statement

Microset is non-custodial. It does not hold or control user private keys. Market
reserves are held in on-chain program-derived accounts and move only according to
the program's published rules. Every user action is initiated and signed by the
user through their own Solana wallet.

## User responsibility

## Blockchain finality

Solana transactions are irreversible once finalized. Microset cannot reverse,
cancel, or refund a finalized transaction.

## Risk disclosure

| Market risk         | Prediction positions can lose value; outcomes are uncertain                                                                     |
| Resolution risk     | Markets resolve via the resolution authority, triggered by third-party sports data; see [Contracts](/security/contracts)        |
| Smart contract risk | The program has undergone internal security audits and vulnerability testing; no software is risk-free and bugs remain possible |
| Regulatory risk     | Availability is geofenced to permitted jurisdictions; access may change as regulations evolve                                   |
| Pool / odds risk    | Payouts depend on the size of the winning pool relative to the total pool                                                       |
